Murray Exchange Club
***Planning Meeting Wed. Mar 3***
Wednesday March 3, 2010 - National Exchange Club of Murray
met this morning for a planning meeting.
Topics discussed were the upcoming
Youth of the Year and ACE awards given to High School students with the best
grades and a student who has been able to overcome problems in their life and
will now graduate, respectively.
The upcoming World Series of Little League
Baseball for 14 year olds hosted by Murray City. In the past the club has been
able to help with moving chairs and equipment to face painting.
The
community Bike ride for Child abuse prevention is scheduled for April.
All
members need to be at the Murray City Council Meeting on March 30th at 6:30 pm
sharp for the proclamation for the City flying our Child Abuse Prevention Flag
for the Month of April, Child Abuse prevention month.
Other discussions were
last year's Little League World Series for 11 and 12 year olds, Yard Sale,
Health and Safety Fair, Day Of Service, Cert Trainings for Disaster Relief, Bike
Ride, National Youth Day of Service, Chamber Golf Tournament, Flag Retirement
Ceremony with other Clubs, and Book of Golden Deeds.

It was a great success. We help an elderly neighborhood woman get her
home repaired and her yard cleaned up.
